We share this planet with complex, interesting, intelligent
and beautiful creatures. I truly love animals and enjoy
being with them.
It brings me great joy to capture "expression" whether
the subject is a person or an animal. I enjoy painting
textures, the softness of fur or the gloss of an eye.

forest grove
Sheltered your nest and evening sunlight wove
A pattern of beauty from each tree to sky.
Now, magic bird where will you fly?
The spotted owls in danger lie.
As forests fall, these giants die.
Are your days numbered, little owl?
And have we heard the last wolf’s howl?"
